Chapter 109.1 Cheng Yu hugged him

Too negative.

Lin An Lan shook his head. That was why a person like him could never become Cheng Yu.

He wasn’t that likeable at all.

The driver drove very fast and it didn’t take long before they arrived at Cheng Yu’s building.

Lin An Lan opened the door, but before he got out of the car, he looked back at Zhuo Siya, “Did ‘Backpacking For Youngsters’ get in touch with Cheng Yu before they contacted me?”

“No.” Zhuo Siya answered honestly.

Lin An Lan had guessed right.

Getting out of the car, he walked towards Cheng Yu’s house in a familiar manner.

He had clearly been gone for less than a few days, but coming back now, it felt as if he had just returned after a long separation.

It wasn’t his home either, but somehow it felt like it from the bottom of his heart.

He went up in the elevator and then stood once more at the door of Cheng Yu’s house. He hesitated for a long time before he finally took a deep breath, lifted his hand and knocked on the door.

He was nervous, inexplicably nervous. He didn’t know why, but he was nervous.

He hadn’t even been this nervous the first time he came here and knocked on the door after he lost his memory.

Looking at the door in front of him, Lin An Lan’s heart pounded uncontrollably and fiercely.

Cheng Yu lifted the blanket, got out of bed and went to the door. Yu Heng had just left, but he was worried that he had come back, so he didn’t think too much about it and opened the door directly, ready to persuade him that he was fine and that he shouldn’t worry.

However, to his surprise, it wasn’t Yu Heng at the door but Lin An Lan.

Lin An Lan, whom he had longed for and thought would never come back.

Looking at him, Lin An Lan blinked unnaturally and was about to open his mouth when he saw Cheng Yu take a sharp step forward and hug him before he could react.

Lin An Lan’s world paused for a brief moment and he could barely feel anything else but the force of Cheng Yu’s arms around him, as well as his breath.

“I thought you, I thought you would never come back.” Cheng Yu whispered.

His eyes sore, Lin An Lan didn’t push Cheng Yu away. Instead he just whispered, “I heard you were sick, is it serious?”

“It’s not serious now that you’re here.” Cheng Yu hugged him tightly, resting his chin on his shoulder like a sad little beast.

Lin An Lan didn’t know what to do other than to let him hug him until he heard him coughing, then he persuaded him, “Let’s go inside and talk, it’s cold outside. You might catch a cold.”

Naturally, Cheng Yu wouldn’t refuse his words and so he let go of him reluctantly, watched him enter through the doorway and then closed it behind him immediately.

“Why did you suddenly fall ill? What kind of illness is it?” Lin An Lan asked in concern.

“A cold.” Cheng Yu answered truthfully, “I also have a little fever, but it’s gone down. It’s not that serious, it’s just that I caught a cold.”

He said this in a very light manner, but as Lin An Lan looked at his face, he thought the situation wasn’t so light.

Cheng Yu looked very bad. He was pale, weak and looked sickly.

“You said before that you are in good health and don’t get sick often.”

“It’s because I wasn’t paying attention and got careless for a while.” Cheng Yu said in response.

“Have you taken your medicine?”

Cheng Yu nodded, “I have.”

Lin An Lan also nodded then the air became unconsciously quiet.

“Did you come specifically to see me?” Cheng Yu asked him.

Lin An Lan didn’t deny it, “En.”

Cheng Yu’s eyes lit up instantly and there seemed to be an extra sparkle in them.

“I’m very happy.” He said sincerely and honestly.

Even without looking into his eyes, Lin An Lan could sense the joy in his tone.

Lin An Lan felt that this point about him was impressive. Even the simplest of words coming out of his mouth could make one feel his sincerity.

And could make one feel his emotions.

How had he been able to do this for so many years, so many times that even after being hurt, he was still like the bright sun, possessing a warmth and sincerity that never faded?

Didn’t he feel that it wasn’t worth it, didn’t he want to back off?

He didn’t get it. He just felt that Cheng Yu was amazing, he was the most amazing person he had ever met.

Lin An Lan lowered his eyes, not knowing what to say.

If he said, ‘Since you’re alright, then I’ll be taking my leave now,’ Cheng Yu’s eyes would probably lose their sparkle again in an instant.

So what should he say?

And how should he say it?

Lin An Lan had never felt that he was an indecisive person, because even when faced with the Cheng Yu of the past, he had always been firm in rejecting him and doing what he felt was right.

But now, a memory loss had changed everything.

He couldn’t be as determined as he used to be and he also wanted Cheng Yu to be happy, always.

When he didn’t love Cheng Yu, he hadn’t cared much about what Cheng Yu felt, what he liked or disliked.

But now that he loved him, he hoped that he would be happy and content.

“Don’t stand, sit.” Cheng Yu took the initiative to say, “What do you want to eat? I haven’t eaten yet, I’ll prepare something for you.”

Where was Lin An Lan willing to let him do this, “What do you want to eat? I’ll make it for you, you’re already sick, don’t hurt yourself.”

Cheng Yu didn’t expect that he would still be willing to cook for him. He said gently, “I can eat anything, I like whatever it is you make.”

Lin An Lan only felt his heart become softer and softer.

Taking off his jacket, he turned to go into the kitchen.

Cheng Yu followed behind him hurriedly, following him in the exact same footsteps he took.

Lin An Lan didn’t stop him, knowing that even if he did, it would be useless, because Cheng Yu’s eyes had hardly left him ever since he entered through the doorway.

Even if he were to sit on the sofa and wait at this point, he would probably stretch his neck to look in his direction.

So, there was no need.
