Chapter 129.2 Lin An Lan hugged him

Lin An Lan kept filming until the evening before he finally had time to rest.

He went back to his hotel room and laying on the bed, chatted with Cheng Yu on the phone, “Little flower, do you know that trying to steal a chicken only makes one end up losing the rice used to lure it?”

“What’s wrong?” Cheng Yu asked him.

“Zhou Yan tried to make things difficult for me today but he ended up being scolded by Director Zhao instead.”

Cheng Yu frowned, “Why did he try to make things difficult for you? What happened between you two?”

“It’s nothing. He wanted me to have a drink with him tonight but I declined then he asked me if I was looking down on him and I said I was busy. Then he said in a weird tone that I was a big star and I responded. He probably felt uncomfortable in his heart and so when we were filming a scene in the afternoon, he wanted to use his acting skills to beat me, but he ended up overacting and didn’t fit the persona. Director Zhao had a problem with that but he disagreed and then was scolded.”

“I understand.” Cheng Yu said.

Lin An Lan was popular, so even if some people in the crew didn’t like him, they wouldn’t show it blatantly, let alone dare to make things difficult for him, plus Zhou Yan had been in the circle for a long time and his acting skills were good, so choosing this method was very much in line with his disposition.

It was just that it was inappropriate.

Treating acting as a showcase, not thinking about how to work well with the other side, but only thinking about beating the other side. No wonder Zhao Peng Hai was angry.

“After I come visit you, pick a time to have a drink with him to save him from always trying to add more to your work.”

“There’s no need.” Lin An Lan didn’t care about that, “I’m just complaining to you, there’s no need for you to go to him. He won’t be able to make any waves.”

“It’s fine, it’s just a word with him.”

“Then you’d better talk to me more.” Lin An Lan said.

Cheng Yu couldn’t help his smile as he reached the front door of Lin An Lan’s room and raised his hand to knock on the door. However he withdrew it as if he had thought of something, “I also want to talk to you more, but unfortunately I have something to take care of at the moment.”

“Then you go ahead.” Lin An Lan said graciously, “I’ll rest for a while, you go about your business.”

“Okay, bye.”

“Bye.”

Lin An Lan hung up, only to hear a knock on the door immediately afterwards.

This was quite a coincidence. He had just hang up the phone and someone had come. He didn’t know who it was. It couldn’t be Meng Tingyun again, right?

Sitting up, Lin An Lan walked over curiously and opened the door.

“Surprise.” Cheng Yu laughed.

Lin An Lan looked at him in shock. No matter how much he had guessed, he didn’t think it would be Cheng Yu outside— the Cheng Yu he was just missing.

Lin An Lan drew him in instantly, closed the door and hugged him immediately afterwards.

“Why are you here?” He asked happily, hugging Cheng Yu.

Caught off guard by his hug, Cheng Yu’s mood was like spilled honey, wrapped in a thick sweetness.

“I came to give you a surprise. Are you surprised?”

Lin An Lan nodded, slightly pulling away a bit to look at him with a smile.

The unmistakable joy in his eyes reflected in Cheng Yu’s eyes and was like a newly blooming flower in early spring, beautiful and moving.

Lowering his head, Cheng Yu kissed his eyes, causing Lin An Lan to close his eyes slightly, then he felt Cheng Yu’s kiss sweep over his eyelids, the tip of his nose and then land on his lips.

He kissed him so tenderly and meticulously that Lin An Lan opened his mouth, responding to his kiss.

Then he unconsciously leaned into his arms and hugged him tightly once more.

After the kiss ended, Lin An Lan pulled Cheng Yu to sit down on the sofa in the living room.

Filling a glass with water, he handed it to him, “Why are you here so soon, didn’t you say you would come visit me next Thursday?”

“Didn’t you miss me?” Cheng Yu looked at him, “You missed me, so I came.”

Lin An Lan was a little moved for a moment then unconsciously lowered his head, seemingly shy.

Smiling faintly, Cheng Yu lowered his head to drink the water, watching him silently.

“Are you staying at my place tonight or at another hotel?” Lin An Lan asked him.

“What do you want?” Cheng Yu asked him.

“That you stay at my place.” Lin An Lan said softly, “Save the back and forth.”

Cheng Yu was a little surprised for a moment. He thought he would ask him to stay at another hotel temporarily to conveniently avoid suspicion, he didn’t expect him to ask him to stay.

“I didn’t bring my pajamas, so you’ll have to lend me a pair.”

“Okay.” Lin An Lan had no comment. Looking at Cheng Yu, his eyebrows curved, “Have you eaten yet? I can accompany you for a late night snack.”

“Then let’s have a late night snack together.” Cheng Yu said.

Although they had only been separated for a day, inexplicably, both Lin An Lan and Cheng Yu felt as if they had been separated from each other for a long time, a feeling that was somewhat unfamiliar to Lin An Lan, yet a little familiar.
