Chapter 53.2

“A flash, a flash of brightness

Leaving traces of the years

The center of my world

Is still is still you

Year after year, year after year

Fly by in the blink of an eye

The only thing that never changes

is to keep changing.”

Lin An Lan who was sitting next to him could hear the tenderness in his voice as he sang without haste, just like the feelings he had. It was clearly passionate but without any trace of aggression.

He heard him sing in a low voice:

“I don’t know how much longer, so I want you to know

I will still love you, it’s the only way out

I will still cherish every moment of happiness with you

Every breath you take, your every movement, your every expression

I will definitely still love you in the end.”

He sang with deep emotion and concentration, but he didn’t dare look at Lin An Lan from the beginning to the end.

He also wanted to look, but he wasn’t sure he could do what Zhou Yuan just did, pretending to glance at him without thinking, and then quickly look away.

He was afraid that if he looked at Lin An Lan, he wouldn’t be able to take his eyes off of him.

He simply knew himself too well.

It was only after Cheng Yu finished singing that he raised his head. Restraining the emotions in his eyes, he said to Lin An Lan, “It’s your turn.”

Lin An Lan shook his head and gave his guitar to Li Yongshi across the room, “I don’t know how to play a guitar.”

“I also don’t know how to.”

After this round, the guitar went back to Zhou Yuan.

They all had a good time as they talked and laughed, finishing their dinner.

As Lin An Lan and Cheng Yu walked back side by side, Cheng Yu’s song still echoed in Lin An Lan’s mind.

He didn’t expect that Cheng Yu would one day sing such a song on such an occasion.

It was very likeable and very memorable.

Fortunately, the camera could help them to make a record.

Their villa and Ma Junshan’s villa were so close that they didn’t have to walk more than a few steps to get home.

Lin An Lan turned on the lights, walked in, and took off his mic.

The cameraman didn’t come back with them. Lin An Lan asked Cheng Yu before starting the camera, “The song you sang, was it for me too?”

Cheng Yu nodded then kissed him.

Lin An Lan was so happy that he couldn’t help but smile.

“So, do you have any gift in return?” Cheng Yu asked him, “For example, sing a song for me too.”

“What do you want to hear?” Lin An Lan asked him.

“Anything.”

“Then I’ll play it for you.” Lin An Lan said, “I remember there is a piano here. I’m not used to singing love songs to others, so I’ll play one for you.”

“Alright.” Cheng Yu said happily.

The two went upstairs and walked into the piano room that had never been used in the villa.

As Lin An Lan sat in front of the piano, he took his phone out, searched for the piano score of the song Cheng Yu had just sung, and then played it slowly.

This was the first time he was playing this song so he wasn’t all that skilled, but fortunately, Cheng Yu didn’t mind. He just looked at him gently, his heart filled with happiness.

Lin An Lan finished playing and once he looked up, he fell into the deep love in Cheng Yu’s eyes.

He smiled and said, “I’ll still love you too, whether it’s before or after amnesia.”

Cheng Yu’s smile froze, but slowly the corners of his lips rose and took a seat next to him.

“Play it again,” he said, “I like it a lot.”

He turned on the recording function of his phone and Lin An Lan played the score again while Cheng Yu listened quietly and recorded the piece.

When Lin An Lan finished playing, he kissed him then leaned on him.

Cheng Yu hugged him tightly, cherishing this moment of peace and sweetness.

Coming out of the piano room, Lin An Lan went back to his room and turned on the camera.

But he didn’t turn it on for long before he turned the camera off again with the excuse of “I’m going to take a shower”.

Going into the bathroom, he took a shower but just as he started to change his clothes, he heard the sound of the piano coming from outside.

The melody was very familiar. Lin An Lan thought for a while then finally realized, wasn’t this the wedding march?

He opened the door and walked out. Using the light of the corridor, he came to the piano room and saw Cheng Yu sitting in front of the piano, playing the piece with his head down.

He was wearing black pajamas, his hair dark with his bangs covering his eyes, making it so he couldn’t see the emotions in his eyes.

The moonlight shining through the window fell on his body and on his hands, adding a cold and hazy dreamy quality to him.

He was playing so quietly that he didn’t seem to have noticed his arrival.

Lin An Lan didn’t enter, he just stood in the doorway, seemingly afraid to disturb the brightness of the room and also seemingly afraid to enter Cheng Yu’s dream by mistake.

He stood silently, listening quietly to the familiar tune.

He thought in his heart, Cheng Yu probably wanted to marry him.

Only now, it was obviously not possible.

Cheng Yu stopped and silently looked at the piano in front of him. He sat silently for a few seconds, then stood up.

With this movement, he finally noticed Lin An Lan at the door.

He seemed to have been here for some time and he was looking at him gently, like the bright moon in the sky in the clear haze, looking immaculate.

Seeing that he had finished playing, Lin An Lan walked into the room, going over to him.

“It sounds so good.” He continued, “I like it very much.”

Cheng Yu looked at him, his heart as soft as water.

He lowered his head and kissed Lin An Lan. Picking him up, he placed him on top of the piano.

Lin An Lan’s hand pressed down as he tried to find purchase, which caused the piano to make a “buzzing” sound, scaring Lin An Lan so much so that he removed his hand instantly.

Cheng Yu laughed lowly, amused by his appearance, thinking he was cute.

Taking his hand, he placed them on his shoulders.

Lin An Lan’s eyes had unconscious innocence in them and he looking very well behaved. Reaching out, Cheng Yu touched his face, then lifted his chin and kissed him tenderly on the lips.

He kissed him seriously and delicately, holding him tightly the whole time and occasionally biting his lips.

Lin An Lan tilted his head as he met his kisses. He didn’t dare move, afraid that if he moved the piano would sound loudly.

But even so, there was still the sound of the piano playing slowly.

As Cheng Yu listened to the sound of the piano, he moved his lips unhurriedly to kiss the side of his face and neck while the music played in the background.

An An, will you marry me? He asked in his heart.

Kissing him again, he whispered, “Baby, say you love me.”

“I love you.” Lin An Lan whispered.

“Then say you are willing.”

Lin An Lan didn’t know why, but whatever Cheng Yu wanted to hear, he would never refuse him, “I am willing.”

Cheng Yu laughed lightly as he held him tightly in his arms.

“I’m willing too.” He said.

He was also willing to marry him.

“I love you.”

Cheng Yu hugged him, his love as deep as the sea.
