Chapter 100.1

Editor: Jodi

Before the commercial bet.

Liu Yuecheng and Liu Yunfei were in a private room of a high end bar in Yanjing.

And accompanying them, were several young men and women who seemed to gravitate around the Liu siblings, showering them with unending compliments.

However it was obvious that Liu Yuecheng and Liu Yunfei were waiting for someone, as they looked at the entrance of the private room from time to time.

Then shortly afterwards, the door was opened by a server and two people walked in.

One of them was strikingly handsome and elegant, sporting gold-rimmed glasses, embodying sophistication with just a simple white shirt and jeans. He was like a refreshing breeze in summer, a ray of sunshine in winter that captivated everyone’s attention with his clean-cut appearance.

The other was a foreign young girl with typical blonde hair and blue eyes dressed in a lolita outfit, looking as pretty and lovely as a doll.

And seeing them, Liu Yunfei stood up with a smile, “Yu Kun, An Qi, you’re here.”

The newcomers were Yu Xudong and Pei Jing’s son, Yu Kun, and the only daughter of the Casper family, An Qi.

The others also stood up, greeting them warmly and giving up their seats, showing just how popular, or rather how much status Yu Kun and An Qi had among the group.

Logically, the Yu family, having just arrived in Yanjing from abroad, might have influence but couldn’t compare to some of the old families in Yanjing.

For example, the Liu family.

However who asked them to climb the tree that was the Casper family?

Yu Kun himself had graduated from school abroad early by skipping a level and was so outstanding that he caught the attention of the Casper family’s only daughter.

Then after being pursued by An Qi Casper, even though he first rejected her three times, he agreed to date her after seeing how persistent she was.

An Qi didn’t understand Chinese.

So Liu Yunfei and Liu Yuecheng went up to her to converse in English.

However after a few sentences, she showed signs of impatience and started playing with her phone.

And seeing her disinterest in others except for her occasional responding to Yu Kun, Liu Yunfei’s eyes turned a little cold, however the smile at the corners of her lips didn’t change as she asked in Chinese, “Does An Qi not like the bar’s atmosphere?”

This question was clearly directed at Yu Kun.

Yu Kun responded indifferently, “An Qi has just arrived in C Country and isn’t quite accustomed yet, so you guys have fun. I’ll accompany her.”

Liu Yunfei smiled, said okay, then turned to talk to the other people who were around.

However Liu Yuecheng, seeing Yu Kun talking to An Qi quietly in the corner in a detached and aloof manner as if no one else was around, muttered to his sister, “Forget An Qi, but who does Yu Kun think he is, ignoring us like that?”

“He doesn’t even think to realize the reason why he’s even able to come here today.”

Wasn’t it just because he was dating someone with an unusual status?

Liu Yunfei: “Enough, shut up and play your game.”

This small gathering here today had been initiated by Lu Jizhen and Yu Xudong presumably for the juniors to bond.

Of course, the primary reason was to curry favor, considering that An Qi, the Casper family’s only daughter had accompanied Yu Kun back to C Country.

Liu Yuecheng snorted, stopped talking, then turned to drink with others.

Liu Yunfei glanced at An Qi, then looked at Yu Kun without taking her eyes off, and it wasn’t known what she was thinking.

–Until Yu Kun noticed her gaze and looked back at her.

Liu Yunfei met his gaze without panic and even smiled.

Yu Kun shifted his gaze away expressionlessly.

Liu Yunfei also didn’t care about his attitude and when another guy invited her to sing, went up without hesitating.

In the corner, Yu Kun was also trying to find topics to chat about, however An Qi, now engrossed in her phone, was hardly paying him any attention.

He glanced at the screen of her phone—she was reading comics, an area he wasn’t familiar with, so naturally it made it difficult for him to find a topic surrounding it to chat about.

Thus he opened his mouth to start conversations on several interesting topics, only to be brushed of by her perfunctory ‘uh-huh’s’.

However to outsiders, it looked as if they were having a very good conversation.

It wasn’t until they were about to leave that she finally put her phone away.

Then Yu Kun offered to send her home, but she refused.

An Qi had the temperament of a young lady, and so when she said no, she meant it.

And seeing her insistence, Yu Kun didn’t press further.

Just then, the Yu family’s driver arrived to pick him up and before leaving, he urged her to go back home early and to stay safe, very much like any caring boyfriend would.

An Qi: “Bye.”

However the moment he got into the car and the partition was raised, his expression turned cold immediately.

And tugging at the collar of his shirt with a look of disgust, he undid a few buttons and instantly ruined the neat and handsome feeling that he gave.

He hated dressing this way, but An Qi liked people who dressed like this.

So he disguised himself, leveraging his identity as an influential figure in school who graduated early after skipping a level, who excelled in academics, was handsome and had a good family background.

And sure enough, he was able to make his existence known in front of An Qi and her friends by using some tricks and schemes.

Before long, he managed to attract An Qi’s advances.

Then after rejecting her three times, he pretended to accept her reluctantly.

He leaned back against the seat casually, however just after a few seconds, his phone rang.

And picking it up, he saw that it was a message from Liu Yunfei, inviting him out to dinner whenever he was free, just the two of them.

The expression on his face turning ambiguous, the corners of his mouth curled up for a long while before he agreed to the invitation.
