Chapter 91.1

Editor: Jodi

During the lengthy New Year holiday, Liu Bohuai continued to stay at the Li family’s Old Mansion,

The meticulously prepared guest room having become a mere decoration, as from the first day, no one stayed in it.

The maid who cleaned the room knew this very well, and reported it to the old butler and Old Master Li.

At first, everyone except Li Xusheng was aware of this.

However later, when Li Xusheng who got up early saw Uncle Liu leaving his big brother’s room, he asked in confusion, “Uncle, did you sleep with big brother last night?”

And hearing this, Liu Bohuai rubbed his little head, “En, of course.”

Li Xusheng tilted his head, puzzled– why did two adults need to sleep together when a small child needed to sleep alone?

On the third day of the New Year, which was also Valentine’s Day, Liu Bohuai took Li Qingzhou out for the entire day, only returning in the evening.

It was only then Li Qingzhou realized that Third Master’s romantic gestures on Valentine’s Day were no less than those of younger people.

However he didn’t know why– he had obviously complimented Ah Huai again and again, so why did he still have to toss him all night….

Li Qingzhou fell asleep, exhausted, the corners of his eyes stained with red that hadn’t faded yet as he curled up under the covers, looking a little pitiful.

And getting up quietly, Liu Bohuai went to the bathroom then looked at himself in the mirror and finally confirmed– he was in good condition, age wasn’t a problem.

Then going back to bed, he pulled Li Qingzhou back into his arms and Li Qingzhou, murmuring something, buried his head further down.

Liu Bohuai patted his back gently, coaxing him to sleep.

During the New Year celebrations at the Li family’s home, Liu Xiahui called. First, he reported the situation abroad, detailed his return date and the work arrangements that were waiting for him back at the company.

Then finally, he asked in confusion, “Third Uncle, why did you return early this year?”

Liu Bohuai: “There’s a reason I had to come back.”

Liu Xiahui became even more confused, however before he could ask further, he heard a faint voice suddenly come from the other end of the phone that wasn’t his uncle’s.

And immediately, Liu Bohuai said, “Let’s not talk about this now, I’m hanging up.”

After the call ended, Liu Xiahui stared at his phone, frowning slightly, a little stunned — that voice seemed to have been calling out to his uncle. Could it be that someone was at his uncle’s place?

No, how was that possible?

He dismissed the thought hurriedly.

He must have heard wrong.

And Liu Bohuai, after hanging up, walked over to the bed.

And picking up the bath towel Li Qingzhou had left behind, took it to the bathroom and knocked on the door, “Qingzhou, I’m coming in.”

Then, turning the doorknob, he went in.

Holidays would always come to an end.

Because after the sixth day of the lunar new year, Li Qingzhou began packing up to return to Yanjing.

And the company also gradually resumed its operations– preparing for the deployment of service-type AI robots in Auto City.

In addition, there was the production and promotion of a teaser for the intelligent exoskeleton support.

The intelligent exoskeleton support didn’t require much of Li Qingzhou’s attention, as the Biological Research Institute would handle most of the work.

However the inviting of a celebrity for the filming of the advertisement for the robot’s deployment in Auto City was necessary.

Previously, the Li Group Corporation had worked with Ji Feng, the actor who had won the best actor at the Fei Tian awards for the advertisement of the smart AI cars.

And now, they planned to approach him again for the advertisement of the service robots.

Unfortunately, Ji Feng’s studio had recently taken on the filming of a project, a filming which was currently taking place in a remote forest area, making him unreachable.

Therefore, wanting Ji Feng for the filming would require them having to wait.

However Li Qingzhou had had Fang Xiyan inquire about it.

–The filming schedule of the movie was extensive, with it primarily consisting of outdoor scenes.

What’s more with Ji Feng being the male lead, he couldn’t take a break to return, as there was a confidentiality agreement in place and traveling to and fro might risk the leaking of information.

Fang Xiyan returned to the company to check the schedule — both parties couldn’t align their timings, making it so that there was no room for compromise.

And so, the Li Group Corporation withdrew their invitation for Ji Feng to film the advertisement.

At Ji Feng’s studio, his agent was on the phone with him: “Are you sure you can’t make a trip back?”

“That’s a Li Group Corporation advertisement we’re talking about, one for AI robots, their very first one.”

“You’ve seen how wildly popular the AI Robots Exchange Competition’s International Grand Finals were, especially those three number one robots.”

“And now, the debut of this new generation of service robots is happening in Auto City. This is a rare opportunity.”

And as his agent said this, he walked back and forth in the room, clearly anxious and eager.

He sighed, “It just had to coincide with you filming the movie….”

It wouldn’t be a big deal if it was a regular movie, however this was a film by a renowned director, with its aim being winning an award.

They had struggled to get this opportunity, and numerous agreements had been signed in regards to the details of the movie being kept confidential before its release.

In short, it would be extremely difficult for the supporting cast to ask for a leave during filming, let alone Ji Feng who was the male lead.

Hearing this, Ji Feng chuckled bitterly over the phone: “You also know Director Li’s temperament…”

“I mentioned leaving for the filming of the ad to him before and got scolded. Where do I dare bring it up again?”
