Chapter 89.2

Editor: Jodi

——The cheeks of the little guy in the bubble turned red, then it spread immediately to his ears, his neck, until his entire being was unbearably shy, his head lowering as he moved his fingers, one foot stepping on the other.

[What if I can’t resist and pounce on Ah Huai, kissing his face, his soft lips, his broad chest…… Hm?]

Li Qingzhou covered his cheeks, looking up in confusion, confused as to why Ah Huai had pinched him.

Although it didn’t hurt at all.

Liu Bohuai’s eyes darkened. The living room was well heated, however he felt an intense heat, one he wasn’t able to resist even though he was in a thin shirt.

Especially in his chest, as if it was harboring a fire, about to burn him to his core.

He was afraid that if he didn’t interrupt Qingzhou’s ‘dangerous’ thoughts, he himself would be in danger after a while.

He lifted his head to check the time — it was still half an hour to midnight.

Wait, don’t rush.

Then closing his eyes, he wrapped the string of buddhist beads that he hadn’t touched in a long time around his palm once again, each bead passing through…

However before the beads could pass through, the string was intercepted by someone and his eyes opening abruptly, he looked down.

Li Qingzhou was completely unaware of the ‘dangerous’ situation he was in.

He had long been interested in this string of buddhist beads, and so now, he reached out to fiddle with them boldly.

And one by one, he slid them in Liu Bohuai’s palm.

And because the light was dim, he even moved Liu Bohuai’s hand closer to his eyes to look at the carved patterns on the beads carefully.

“Want to wear it?” Liu Bohuai suddenly opened his mouth, his voice husky.

Li Qingzhou: “En.”

——The little guy in the bubble extended his little hands eagerly.

And removing the string of buddhist beads, Liu Bohuai wrapped it around Li Qingzhou’s wrist slowly, once, twice…..

Li Qingzhou’s wrists were much more delicate than his were, and so required an extra loop, the deep color of the wooden beads making his wrist look even more pale and….. enticing.

And the person himself unaware, he waved his wrist in front of him, the beads touching each other with a faint sound that was drowned out by the TV program.

And just at that moment, the skit ended, and wave after wave of applause sounded.

[Does it look good on me, he, hehe]

Tugging Li Qingzhou’s wrist up, Liu Bohuai kissed the inside of it.

Immediately, the hehe sound from the bubble disappeared.

Li Qingzhou’s face turned red.

“It looks good, better than when I wear it.” Liu Bohuai’s voice was dark and raspy.

He whispered in Li Qingzhou’s ear, “Let’s celebrate the New Year in a different way, okay?”

[A different way? What way?]

——The little guy in the bubble looked puzzled, his expression one of confusion.

However before Li Qingzhou could ask, the screen of the TV went black, and turned off, causing the living room to instantly become even more dark.

He was startled, and then in the next moment his entire body was lifted up, the thin blanket that was on him falling onto the sofa and then sliding to the floor.

“Ah, Ah Huai.” Li Qingzhou called out, freezing.

Liu Bohuai carried him towards the room, answering in a low voice, “En, I’m here.”

The night of the New Year was lively, with some people staying up late to ring in the New Year while some set off fireworks and firecrackers to continue a tradition.

However at this moment, the sounds from outside were distant but continuous.

The Li family’s Old Mansion, far from Xicheng’s city area, was tranquil and quiet as usual.

That even if the sounds of firecrackers were loud during the New Year, they became quieter as one neared the Old Mansion, however the brilliant brightness of the fireworks remained.

Bands of colors reflected on the glass windows and then refracted into the house.

Li Qingzhou’s heart trembled slightly as he was carried to the bed.

He looked up, and above him, was the man who was leaning over to look at him.

——And just this look alone was enough to make Li Qingzhou’s scalp tighten slightly, as if ants were crawling up his spine quietly, causing both numbness and itchiness.

He placed his hand on one of Liu Bohuai’s shoulders, pushing tentatively as he said softly, “Ah Huai…”

“En?”

Liu Bohuai responded, one hand on the side of Li Qingzhou’s ear, the other pulling his hand over, kissing the inside of his palm gently.

The tips of Li Qingzhou’s fingers trembled, his cheeks becoming even more red.

He tried to pull his hand out but was unable to do so and so said, “I think the way we were ringing in the New Year before is better. How about we go out and continue watching the evening program.”

The hand that he was trying to pull out was the one with the buddhist beads.

Liu Bohuai didn’t respond and instead dropped little kisses in his palm patiently, then bypassing the beads, moved along his arm….

Then finally reached his neck.

A kiss landed.

And this time, not only did the tips of Li Qingzhou’s fingers tremble, his whole body trembled as well,

The corners of his eyes red, looking somewhat pitiful.

There were no lights on inside the room, but outside, the occasional flashes of fireworks and firecrackers, along with the moonlight….. made everything seem clear yet chaotic.

Liu Bohuai whispered softly, his hand slipping under his shirt to knead… “Be good, let’s not go out, let’s stay here to celebrate.”

Li Qingzhou felt that he couldn’t resist the temptation.

And so he succumbed to Ah Huai’s charm.

[Woo woo, it’s not that I’m not capable, it’s that the enemy is too strong. This man is too seductive, too tempting, I surrender.]

——The little guy in the bubble sobbed, and raising his hands, threw himself decisively into his arms.

…..

The next day, Li Qingzhou didn’t get up until almost noon.

The whole family just thought it was because he had stayed up too late to usher in the New Year, making it so that even Li Xusheng didn’t go into the room to look for his big brother.

When Li Qingzhou came out of the room, he was still wearing that red turtleneck sweater, hiding all traces under the clothes, his cheeks flushed and lips also deeply red.

Complementing the phrase — ‘A face like a peach blossom’.

Li Hanyu, sharp-eyed, noticed that her big brother was wearing a string of buddhist beads on his wrist. They seemed to be Mr. Liu’s.

She asked, “Big brother, is this the New Year gift Mr. Liu gave you?”

Mr. Liu had given her big brother so many New Year gifts, one after the other.

She sighed, then knowing that he hadn’t eaten yet, passed him a boiled egg.

Li Qingzhou’s hand that was maneuvering the wheelchair paused, his ears turning red. However fortunately it was hidden under his hair, and so wasn’t seen by anyone.

So taking the boiled egg, he replied with a vague yes.
