Chapter 84 Food Protecting Little Rabbit

As delicate as goose feathers, heavy snow cascaded from the sky, fluttering and covering the entire world, and after just one night, the next day saw the world cloaked in a layer of snowy white, resplendent in its silvery wrap, a sight of sheer beauty.
Meng Chao set out early in the morning, however his studio was located in the busiest part of downtown, hence even though he left early, he still ended up stuck in traffic.

When the staff in the studio saw Meng Chao come in, they all looked up and greeted him, and after a slight gesture, Meng Chao walked towards his office.

“You’re here.” Crossing his arms, he sat back in his chair, looking up at Meng Chao with a calm expression.

Meng Chao let out a light chuckle, “I’ve done nothing wrong, so why should I regret it?”
His agent was threatening him like this simply because he thought he had something on him. However over the years, he had definitely done right by himself, so he wasn’t afraid of his agent exposing anything.
“Indeed.” The agent shrugged indifferently, however his gaze stopped on the glass wall of the office, then he suddenly broke into a sly smile. Then suddenly walking to Meng Chao, he lunged at him.
And caught off guard, Meng Chao was tackled by his agent, however when he tried to kiss him, Meng Chao dodged.
Then pushing him away, his sharp gaze turned towards the window. And it wasn’t known when, but Lin Qin was already standing there.
“This is your so called ‘material’?” Immediately grasping his intention, Meng Chao asked with a mocking tone.
His agent shrugged nonchalantly, getting up from the floor, “Yes. It just depends on who sees this ‘material’. Do you think Lin Qin would still believe in you after seeing this scene?”
Meng Chao laughed very confidently, “How about we make a bet?”
“That he will trust me unconditionally.”
“Fine, it’s no skin off my nose anyway.” His agent sat casually on the desk, his arms crossed, in a resigned attitude.
And as he was saying this, Lin Qin had already opened the door and entered the room.
Then standing beside Meng Chao, he glared at the agent directly with wide, round eyes. “It was you who used Meng Chao Ge’s name just now to call me over here, right?”
His tone was heavy, and coupled with his serious expression, he looked like a small beast protecting its food. However instead of making one feel that he was fierce and vicious, it only made them feel that he was cute.
The agent froze. He didn’t expect that Lin Qin would question him like this the moment he entered instead of suspecting that there was something between him and Meng Chao.
And as if seeing through the agent’s thoughts, Lin Qin took the initiative to explain, “Sorry, I’m not stupid. If it was really Meng Chao Ge who invited me here, he definitely wouldn’t have let me see this scene, because he’s not stupid either.”
At the end, Lin Qin thought about it then added, “So the only one who is stupid is you. Have you been watching too much idol drama with dog blood? That you think you can drive a wedge between Meng Chao Ge and I’s feelings like this?”
The agent: “……”
Meng Chao swept Lin Qin into his arms, making him sit on his lap, then he kissed him heavily on the face in front of his agent, then shrugged at him.
This behavior was very childish, like a child who was flaunting the fact that he had won to a rival. It didn’t fit Meng Chao’s gentle and elegant persona at all.
However it infuriated his agent so much that gritting his teeth, he glared at Meng Chao and Lin Qin, his eyes looking like they had been hardened with poison, and if looks could kill, Lin Qin and Meng Chao would have probably already been sliced into pieces by the agent.
Immediately, Lin Qin shifted his body, using himself as a shield to protect Meng Chao as he puffed his chest up at him, with a bold look that said, ‘Come at me if you dare.’
It was about Meng Chao, so Lin Qin told himself that he couldn’t be a coward.
The agent glared at Lin Qin hatefully. He had obviously been cowardly sometime ago, so how come he had become so brave now? Actually thinking foolishly that he could protect Meng Chao. Simply stupid and ridiculous.
Meng Chao, however, chuckled softly, his voice deep and mellow, filled with pleasure. His Little Rabbit Lin was also a protective little rabbit, and this feeling of being protected was really nice, making him somewhat addicted.
Even so, he still whispered in Lin Qin’s ear, “Okay, let me handle this myself.”
And immediately nodding obediently, Lin Qin stepped aside, his warning gaze never leaving the agent.
“It didn’t have to get this ugly between us in the first place.” Meng Chao stood up, his tall figure making one feel that they were being oppressed completely.
Lin Qin looked at him, keenly sensing that he was angry.
His agent also sensed it and wanted to step back, however the table was behind him, making it so that he didn’t have any place to retreat to, and so could only watch as Meng Chao approached him.
Meng Chao stopped just two steps away from him, his deep and dark eyes staring at the agent, and it was as if there was a deep sea beast hidden within them which could annihilate him at any moment.
The agent’s body trembled for no reason as he stuttered, “I… I…”
It was precisely because he had been with Meng Chao for several years that he knew his character. He seemed gentle and easygoing on the surface, however once his bottom line was stepped on, his anger wasn’t something that other people could withstand.
He knew this, however because of the unwillingness in his heart, he stepped on it.
