Having heard about what had happened to Lin Qin from the staff, Chu Hong rushed up.
However when she arrived at the door of his room, she noticed that it wasn’t completely closed, probably due to Lin Qin and Meng Chao’s hurried return. She was about to knock and enter when she heard sounds that were hard to ignore seeping through the gap in the door.
Immediately, she changed her action of knocking into closing the door, and the room had good soundproofing, hence as soon as the door was closed, the sounds from inside were blocked out.
The director was also worried about
Lin Qin and was going upstairs when he happened to run into Chu Hong.
“How is Lin Qin?” The director asked with concern.
Chu Hong said without the expression on her face changing, “It should be nothing serious and he’s already asleep now, so there’s no need for us to disturb him.”
“Okay.” The director didn’t press further and turned to leave with Chu Hong.
However just before they parted ways, the director called out to her, “When the time comes, help me say sorry to Lin Qin. We were the ones who were negligent.”
Chu Hong had been very angry when she’d heard about it at first. Where had the production staff gone to? That they could let such a thing happen?
However after she thought about it, she realized it wasn’t entirely the fault of the production team. No one could have predicted that Fang Ming Hui would be this kind of person, not even she herself. Moreover she had even assumed that Fang Ming Hui would at least retain some dignity and conscience and wouldn’t do something like coercion in public view.
The result, hehe, Fang Ming Hui was truly disgusting.
“It’s not your fault.” Chu Hong still had her reasoning about her. “This has nothing to do with the production team. It’s just that in the future, if evidence is needed, I hope the production team will step up.”
She wasn’t going to let this matter rest. Since Fang Ming Hui had done such a thing, then he shouldn’t blame them for settling both the old and new scores together.
The director agreed readily, “Of course, of course.”
The fact that Lin Qin’s side wasn’t pursuing their mistakes was already generous enough. It wouldn’t be difficult to come forward later to provide evidence if needed.
The hot blooded passionate and intense encounter continued into the late night, then afterwards, Meng Chao carried Lin Qin to the bathroom to wash away the stickiness, and when they came out, Lin Qin wasn’t sleepy at all, his eyes were wide open as he stared at Meng Chao.
Meng Chao kissed him then asked with a smile, “What’s wrong?”
Lin Qin shook his head. “I just feel that is so good with you around.”
In the boundless darkness, he had found his own light, and his world had begun to brighten and the protective wall he had erected around his heart, that isolated him from the world, had collapsed because of Meng Chao. He no longer felt alone and he finally had the courage to say hello to the world again.
“You’re also very good.” Meng Chao pulled him into his arms, his fingers caressing his delicate skin, savoring every moment.
If it weren’t for the fact that he knew that it was Lin Qin’s first time, he wouldn’t have stopped so early.
Outside the window, the night was pitch black, with the sounds of insects and flowing water unusually clear yet somehow noisy.
Yet, Lin Qin felt that the whole world was quiet, so quiet that it made his soul peaceful. He wrapped his arms around Meng Chao’s waist tightly, contemplated for a while, and then opened his mouth, “Meng Chao Ge, have I ever told you about the things that happened when I was a child?”
“Hmm?” Meng Chao looked down at him, raising an eyebrow slightly. “Qin Qin wants to share it with me?”
Lin Qin nodded.
“Then I’m all ears.”
On the slightly noisy night, Lin Qin used his clear and clean voice to narrate the past, the sweet and the bitter, including that period of extreme darkness during high school.
