Chapter 52.3 Baby can only be mine

Shen Ci suddenly opened his eyes, staring blankly at the stark white ceiling, blinking in confusion.

Where was he? It looked like a hospital?

“Baby, let me help you sit up so you can drink some water.”

Seeing Shen Ci suddenly burst into tears made Lu Xiao panic. He pulled him into his arms, kissing the corners of his reddened, tear-streaked eyes.

The taste of his warm tears was salty and bitter, stabbing into Lu Xiao’s heart.

“Baby, what’s wrong? I won’t leave, don’t cry.”

Shen Ci clung to him tightly, breaking down into uncontrollable sobs, crying loud and hard, without restraint.

His eyes burned with an unstoppable fire as he declared, “I’m yours, so baby can only be mine.”

Shen Ci gaped at him, frozen with shock, even forgetting to continue making a scene. Then after a moment, his face turned bright red.

He tried to wriggle away, but Lu Xiao only laughed softly and released him, straightening his shirt slowly and methodically as if nothing had happened.

He wasn’t sure what real love felt like, but he knew he couldn’t live without Lu Xiao and that everything about Lu Xiao pulled at his heartstrings.
