Chapter 27.2

Ai Mo quickly sent him the link and Tang Zhou clicked on it. Inside, there was a folder named ‘Double Flight of Swallows in Light Rain’.

So poetic, was this really male-male interaction videos?

He locked the door, put on his headphones, and casually clicked on a video.

The video had a beautiful and romantic atmosphere, with both sides meeting under a splendid night scene and falling in love at first sight.

The actors were quite handsome, and their flirting was quite pleasing to the eye.

So far, Tang Zhou hadn’t felt any discomfort.

Then the scene changed, and the actors appeared in a room as they started to kiss and touch each other, overflowing with passion.

Tang Zhou raised an eyebrow.

The video got to the point.

Tang Zhou was stunned. Imagining things was one thing, but it was another when it was the real deal.

He didn’t feel uncomfortable or tempted, just a bit confused.

Could this really happen without an emotional foundation?

Putting himself in the scenario, he found it hard to believe. If he ever did something like this, it would definitely be with someone he really liked.

Wait a minute!

Suddenly, he realized he had overlooked something.

Tang Zhou froze, incredulously chewing on his previous thoughts.

If he only wanted to indulge with someone he liked, why was he attracted to Fu Shen’s body?

The actors in the video continued their performance diligently, but Tang Zhou had already lost interest.

His mind was alternately filled with thoughts of Fu Shen’s body and self-recrimination.

He knocked his forehead on the table and let out a sigh.

That night, Tang Zhou lay in bed tossing and turning, unable to sleep, and when he finally fell asleep, he had a strange dream.

He dreamt of Fu Shen several years in the future.

Dressed in a black suit, with a sharp and cold gaze, Fu Shen neatly closed a file and said, “Come with me on a business trip now.”

Tang Zhou didn’t hesitate. “Okay.”

The timing and location of the business trip happened to coincide with the peak of the summer vacation travel season. On the way there, Tang Zhou tried to book tickets using an app but couldn’t get any.

He was in distress when Fu Shen said, “If there are no hotels available, we’ll find a private inn when we get there.”

Tang Zhou had recently gone bankrupt and so had never stayed in a private inn. He couldn’t even imagine the conditions of such places.

As they walked through narrow alleys and entered an old building, he finally snapped out of it. It turned out this was the kind of inn they were going to stay in.

A bald middle aged man glanced at them and asked, “Checking in?”

Fu Shen nodded and handed over his ID.

Owner: “We only have one room left.”

Tang Zhou said hurriedly, “I’ll check other places–“

“I have work for you, so it’s not convenient.” Fu Shen firmly rejected his suggestion.

Tang Zhou: “…”

With Fu Shen’s current status and wealth, it was impossible for him to be unable to find a hotel. Just because they couldn’t book one online didn’t mean they couldn’t find a place to stay.

Money could make the impossible happen, so Tang Zhou didn’t know what Fu Shen wanted to do.

Of course, he was the boss, so he held absolute authority.

Tang Zhou could only follow him into the cramped room, where there was only one bed.

The bed wasn’t large, just enough for two men to lie down.

He stood still by the bed, trying to overcome his resistance to sharing a bed with someone else, when suddenly, someone hugged him from behind!

The man’s scorching breath brushed against his ear, a hand gripping his chin and tilting it back, an attractive face coming down.

Holy crap!

Tang Zhou opened his eyes immediately and was greeted by pitch black darkness. He could only hear the rapid pounding of his heart, thumping incessantly, as if someone were beating a drum in his ear.

What kind of terrifying dream did he just have!

The first half was still quite normal, indeed something he had experienced in the dream before. But the second half, where Fu Shen hugged and kissed him, wasn’t that a scene from Ai Mo’s video?

Tang Zhou breathed heavily as he investigated down.

Crap.

The next morning, sporting a pair of panda eyes, he got up early and as soon as he opened the door, he saw Fu Shen sitting on the sofa.

A laptop was resting on the young man’s knees, his slender hands typing rapidly on the keyboard.

When he heard the movement, he immediately stopped and turned his head. “Breakfast has been bought. Do you want to eat?”

Tang Zhou: “… You bought it?”

Fu Shen smiled, “Liang Cheng helped with it.”

“En.”

Having not slept well last night, Tang Zhou sat lethargically at the table, nibbling mechanically on a bun.

Fu Shen sensed his downcast mood and asked cautiously, “What’s wrong?”

The handsome face of the young man was surprisingly close, showing evident concern.

He leaned in a bit too close, and Tang Zhou instinctively moved backward, his face wooden. “It’s nothing.”

The loss in Fu Shen’s eyes was fleeting, then he took the initiative to discreetly distance himself from Tang Zhou, saying, “Senior, you’ve probably always been the top student in your year, right?”

Tang Zhou waited for him to continue.

“Final exams are coming up and I have some trouble with advanced mathematics.” Fu Shen smiled a bit sheepishly, “Can I ask you for help?”

Tang Zhou was skeptical about this.

If he remembered correctly, Fu Shen had consistently ranked at the top of their class, so advanced math shouldn’t be an issue for him.

However–

Tang Zhou didn’t want to refuse.

“Sure.”

Fu Shen took advantage of the situation, “Do you have time today?”

Tang Zhou, “Aren’t you supposed to have classes on Monday?”

“I meant tonight.” Fu Shen’s smile deepened.

He was already handsome, so his genuine smile was quite endearing, and combined with Tang Zhou’s inexplicable feelings toward him, he couldn’t help but notice how attractive his eyes and lips were when he smiled, especially through the filter of his emotions.

He exhaled slowly and said expressionlessly, “I’ll take you to school.”

He felt that Fu Shen was flirting with him, but he didn’t have proof.

After dropping Fu Shen off at school, Tang Zhou sat calmly in the car, reaching for his cigarettes several times, but the image of Fu Shen stopping him kept appearing in his mind. In the end, he couldn’t open the storage compartment.

Suddenly, he received a message.

Lu Ye: There were prizes for yesterday’s basketball game. I’ll bring them over tonight.

Lu Ye: Tang Zhou, I still feel like I need to ask you.

Tang Zhou What?

Lu Ye: What’s the real relationship between you and Fu Shen?

Tang Zhou: A co-operative relationship.

Lu Ye: Something was….. off about you yesterday.

Tang Zhou sighed softly.

He and Lu Ye had known each other for many years, and while Lu Ye might not fully understand him, he was quite accurate in sensing his emotions.

He moved his fingers.

Tang Zhou: What was off?

Lu Ye: Do you treat other co-operative partners like this?

Tang Zhou: Like what?

Lu Ye: Do I need to spell it out for you?

Lu Ye: …..You’re beyond help.

Tang Zhou laughed.

Lu Ye: Are you serious?

Tang Zhou: Lu Ye, how did you realize you had feelings for Qiao Yuan back then?
