Chapter 50.2

Editor: Jodi

The snow seemed to be coming down a bit harder, the delicate crystals tapping against the car window after fluttering down before melting away quickly.

Snowfall in Jiang City was rare, and even when it did snow, thick layers of it were hard to come by.

Tang Zhou sighed, “The snow in Long City is still prettier.”

Fu Shen: “It’s too cold there.”

“But your heated bed at home is really warm.”

Fu Shen: “…”

He’d noticed that his sweet porridge was especially flirty tonight.

When they got back to the apartment complex, he gripped Tang Zhou’s hand tightly and led him into the elevator.

And the moment the elevator doors closed, he pulled him into his arms for a fierce kiss. Tang Zhou went along, closing his eyes to soak in the passion.

Then the elevator gave a soft ding, announcing that they’d arrived at their floor.

And without breaking the kiss, Fu Shen scooped him up, carried him straight out of the elevator, and headed straight for the door of their apartment.

The fingerprint lock made things easy.

The moment they got in, before they even had time to flip on a light, Fu Shen had Tang Zhou pressed up against the door, and the intensity wrapping around him, he reached out subconsciously to brace himself against the wall by the entrance, only for him to accidentally hit the living room switch, causing the room to light up.

However neither of them paid any attention to this.

They just moved from the entryway to the living room and then to the bedroom, and somewhere along the way, Tang Zhou’s down jacket had disappeared, leaving him in just a thin sweater.

The sweater was black, making his long, porcelain neck stand out even more, his lips looking a deeper red after being kissed.

He panted lightly, “I need a shower.”

His voice was low and raspy, scratching like a cat’s claw at Fu Shen’s heart, making him itch with need.

Fu Shen bit the tip of his nose lightly, his voice even huskier than his, “Shower after we’re done.”

“No way.”

Tang Zhou was a stickler for cleanliness. After their time in Long Tan Village, he hadn’t had a proper bath, and with the long trip home, he couldn’t get past the thought of not washing up.

Indeed, one had to be happy while doing such things, so Fu Shen, despite wanting him badly, couldn’t bring himself to refuse.

“Alright, I’ll shower too.”

Both showers running meant they wouldn’t lose any time.

Tang Zhou scrubbed himself clean carefully, and when he came out of the bathroom, he saw Fu Shen already sitting on the bed, waiting for him, his gaze intense and unwavering.

Now that things were this far along, Tang Zhou couldn’t help feeling a bit shy, hesitating as he took a step forward.

Getting up, Fu Shen walked over and took his hand. “Let’s dry your hair first.”

“Oh.”

Tang Zhou’s skin had taken on a rosy hue from the steam, and his freshly showered eyes looked clear and bright, glistening with a faint moisture that made Fu Shen almost want to throw him onto the bed right then and there to bully him.

However Tang Zhou’s body tended to feel cold, so leaving his hair wet would easily make him catch a chill.

Tang Zhou sat on the edge of the bed obediently, letting Fu Shen handle him, all his earlier flirtatiousness gone.

The quiet of the bedroom made the air feel thick and warm, so Tang Zhou tried to break the silence. “Fu Shen, is this your first time?”

Fu Shen’s hand that was holding the blow dryer paused. “Mm.”

Tang Zhou felt his cheeks heat up, however he still braved through it to ask, “Do you know what to do?”

“Mm.”

“How’d you find out?”

Fu Shen didn’t answer.

Tang Zhou’s right thumb pressed into his left finger. “Why aren’t you saying anything?”

The blow dryer was suddenly clicked off, tossed aside, then a passionate, minty kiss fell over his face.

Then with his lips caught between Fu Shen’s, the man mumbled, “I learned in a dream.”

“…..”

That night, Tang Zhou had another dream.

He dreamt of an endless sea once again, and that he was a small boat that was drifting across its vast surface. He rose and fell with the ocean waves, tossing and turning as the waves crashed around him. He wanted to escape this wild, boundless ocean, however he was enveloped by the sea’s powerful embrace, unable to stop for even a moment.

He didn’t know how long it went on, but at last, the sea calmed, and he felt as if his body were on the very edge of falling apart.

He just managed to catch a glimpse of the dark eyes above him before he slipped into a sweet dream.

Then he slept straight through until noon the next day.

When he opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was the close-up view of an Adam’s apple and a clean-shaven chin.

Someone had him in their arms tightly, their warmth surrounding him from head to toe. And aside from a bit of soreness, he didn’t feel any discomfort.

A light kiss fell on his eyelids, then a husky voice sounded in his ear, “Are you feeling uncomfortable anywhere?”

He shook his head.

Although there was a strange feeling in the lower part of his body, he didn’t feel the need to mention it.

Fu Shen had already checked him over last night and knew he wasn’t hurt, however hearing Tang Zhou’s answer was what finally caused him to relax.

He held Tang Zhou’s hand, bringing it up for a kiss on his lips. “What would you like to eat?”

His handsome face showed an intoxicating gentleness and loving that could make anyone’s heart flutter.

Tang Zhou rubbed his chin against Fu Shen’s, squinting his eyes lazily. “I don’t know.”

He didn’t want to think about anything right now, he just wanted to stay in someone’s arms quietly.

Fu Shen chuckled softly. “I’ll get up first, you can sleep a little more.”

“Don’t go.” Tang Zhou held onto him. “Stay with me.”

The eyes of the young man who had just woken up were still dreamy, his face carrying a healthy blush, and all this, combined with his coquettish gentle plea, made it hard for anyone to refuse.

Fu Shen felt the heat that he had just suppressed rising again.

His gaze deepened. “Want to go again?”

Tang Zhou: “……”

Seeing him retreat back into his shell, a doting smile rippled across Fu Shen’s face, then he got up to wash up, and then went into the kitchen.

Tang Zhou lazed in bed for a while, then feeling bored, got up slowly to wash up himself.

Once he was done, he finally felt refreshed. His eyes drifted to the trash bin, where several wrappers lay, and remembering Fu Shen’s passion from the previous night, he couldn’t help but smile.

He walked to the doorway of the kitchen, and Fu Shen, hearing the movement, turned around, handing him a glass of warm water right away.

After all that overusing the night before, Tang Zhou’s throat was a bit sore in the morning, and he only felt better after finishing the glass of water.

“Why didn’t you sleep a bit more?” Fu Shen asked while frying an egg.

Sweet words left Tang Zhou’s mouth the moment he opened them: “I missed you.”

Although they had only been apart for a few minutes,

Fu Shen believed him because he himself wanted to stay close to Tang Zhou at all times too.

Suddenly, Tang Zhou’s phone rang.

And walking over, he picked it up— it was Lu Ye,

Whose voice rang out, filled with barely contained excitement, “Tang Zhou, the movie…… it blew up.”

After a day and night of attention, the movie had finally burst into the public eye with a sky-high word of mouth reviews.

Tang Zhou had already expected this outcome, however being part of it himself made his heart swell for a moment too.

He couldn’t help but smile. “Good.”

Lu Ye laughed a little foolishly. “Those people at the company looked down on this project before, but now….. heh heh.”

Tang Zhou understood what he meant.

With this victory, Lu Ye had finally established himself at the company, gaining a stronger voice there.

“So, what’s your next plan?” Tang Zhou’s calm question brought Lu Ye back to his senses.

Indeed—an explosive movie was just like a flash in the pan. If he wanted to become the true leader of the Lu family, this alone wasn’t nearly enough.

“Tang Zhou, thank you.” Lu Ye said seriously.

He was really grateful to have a friend like him.

Tang Zhou smiled warmly, “Don’t forget my cut.”

Lu Ye: “…”

Just then, Fu Shen came over with a plate, and Tang Zhou ended the call, pulled Fu Shen close and gave him a gentle kiss.

“Mr. Fu, thank you.”

I’m so grateful to have met you.

I’m so honored to be loved by you.
