Chapter 47.3

Editor: Princess

In the evening classroom, only Ning Sheng and Li Haoyue were left, playing mobile games.

“Have you noticed that Dog Xu likes to go off on his own lately?” Ning Sheng poked at his phone. “Heal me.”

“I’ve noticed. He went to play basketball again.” Li Haoyue frantically tapped support skills. “Can’t save you, teammates are too weak. I’ve lost a star.”

Ning Sheng: “Whatever, I’m using Dog Xu’s account.”

Gaming wasn’t fun, so Ning Sheng got bored and lay back on his desk.

“I have competition training.” Li Haoyue told him.

Ning Sheng: “There are evening lessons?”

Li Haoyue: “I’m teaching.”

Ning Sheng: “…”

Only Ning Sheng remained in the empty classroom. The fan spun listlessly, making some noise.

After a while, someone came. He thought it was Xu Ling, and so opened his eyes.

However it was Bai Ming.

Ning Sheng: “Why is it you?”

“There’s a concert tonight. Do you want to go?” Bai Ming asked.

Ning Sheng: “A concert?”

Bai Ming mentioned the name of a violinist.

Ning Sheng was a bit tempted. This was someone he had always wanted to hear.

Besides, Xu Ling hadn’t been paying much attention to him lately, and he hadn’t been to a concert in a long time.

Ning Sheng: “I suppose I could go.”

A Bentley from Bai Ming’s family was parked at the school gate. The driver opened the door and invited them in.

The expensive car drove through the bustling city and stopped in front of the magnificent concert hall.

The concert was about to begin, and the ticket hall was full of neatly and exquisitely dressed people.

Several of Bai Ming’s young master friends also came over.

“This is Ning Sheng.” Bai Ming introduced. “The eldest son of President Ning.”

“Wow, my family has cooperated with yours.” One of them said.

This social scene of fame and fortune was something that young people could never avoid.

This was where Ning Sheng was supposed to belong, gathering with his own kind.

But he inexplicably felt extremely bored.

“There’s a horse racing competition this weekend. Want to come watch?” Someone invited him carefully.

Ning Sheng: “Not interested.”

He would rather go catch pigs in Qing’an Town.

“There’s a spice exhibition. Want to go see it?” Someone else asked.

Ning Sheng: “No.”

He’d rather go swimming with Xu Ling.

Xu Ling—it was all Xu Ling’s fault for always going off on his own lately, which was why he had come to listen to such a boring concert.

Back at school, Xu Ling, who had just finished washing his basketball jersey in the laundry room, returned to the dorm carrying a washbasin.

When the heart is not in turmoil, the person becomes peaceful, the heart as calm as a lake surface.

His mindset was stable.

“Where did Ning Ning go tonight?” He asked.

Lu Peng, practicing push-ups: “Don’t… know.”

Xu Ling: “?”

Xu Ling: “He went out by himself?”

Having someone who was usually always in sight suddenly disappear was really uncomfortable.

His mindset exploded.

Ling: Where are you?

[Ning]: On the African savanna.

Ling: It’s almost midnight. You should come back.

[Ning]: Oh, so you remember I exist?

Ling: Staying out all night means punishment standing tomorrow morning.

[Ning]: You’re not the boss of me.

[Ning]: You cling to me and don’t let me play with others, then you abandon me to go have fun with other people.

Ling: I was just playing basketball…

[Ning]: Xu Dashan! You have all the reasons in the world, and only you can talk.

[Ning]: Annoy me one more time and we’re done being friends.

Ling: Fine! Where are you? I’ll come find you!

Xu Ling stood up, turned the doorknob, and pushed the door, about to rush outside.

Ning Sheng: “Ow.”

Ning Sheng, who had been standing at the door sending messages, was hit by the door and sat on the ground holding his head.
