Xu Ling was halfway on his bike when they met Lu Peng and Li Haoyue riding side by side.
“Hi, Princess.” Lu Peng greeted.
“Math nerd, what’s the name of your little piglet?” Ning Sheng asked Li Haoyue.

Lu Peng and Xu Ling winked at him frantically.

“That’s very much unlike your style.” Ning Sheng said in response, “I thought it would be called xyz.”
Then he didn’t ask any more questions.
The four of them walked in through the school gates, however three of them were filtered out, leaving only Ning Sheng in front.
Ning Sheng: “?”
“What’s on your heads? Hair gel? Wax? And dyed yellow?” The principal was checking student appearances at the gate, so Xu Ling, Lu Peng, and Li Haoyue, who had their hair styled in the city at high cost, couldn’t escape.
“No.” Lu Peng answered.
Principal: “Then I misunderstood?”
Lu Peng: “It’s caramel color.”
“Stand for a period.” The principal said, “Remember to cut it after school.”
“Why?” Ning Sheng’s voice came from the side.
Principal: “A student’s main task is to study.”

The four of them stood blocking the school gate.

Xu Ling couldn’t move the entire classroom, so Ning Sheng was finally able to hear Fang Hua complete a sentence.
Ning Sheng: “Speak.”
“I brought a soccer ball.” Fang Hua said in friendly manner, “Want to play with me?”
“Even if you brought the Earth, he still wouldn’t play with you.” The window slammed shut.
