The little devil king had dragged Ning Sheng around crazily to play for a few years, so crazy that he had gotten in a lot of exercise and now he could ran and jump around naturally, and when he wasn’t lazy, he was willing to try new games.
For example, this day after school ended, he sat on the sidelines of the basketball court, watching people play basketball.
After finishing his duty, Xu Ling found his way to the basketball court and saw Ning Sheng from afar.
Ning Sheng didn’t like wearing school uniforms, so just like usual, he was just draped in one, with a very light white shirt underneath, the wind blowing through his black hair.
He was sitting with his head turned, chatting with several girls sitting next to him, holding a cup of milk tea in his hand.
“Dog Xu, princess is quite popular.” Lu Peng nudged Xu Ling with his elbow.
Xu Ling: “I’m not blind.”
Lu Peng: “…..”
Lu Peng: “You’re like a firecracker that has just been dropped on the ground.”
“What are you looking at?” Xu Ling sat down next to Ning Sheng and lifting his hand in a natural manner, rested it on Ning Sheng’s shoulder.
In the past, when Ning Sheng couldn’t walk well, he would wait for him at the door of the classroom obediently to do his duty.
However now, as soon as class was over, he would disappear. He wasn’t quite used to it.
“You didn’t even do your duty.” Xu Ling told him.
“I cleaned the blackboard!” Ning Sheng said back angrily.
Xu Ling: “You must be tired.”
“Not really.” Ning Sheng said, “But I washed my hands for a good half hour. It was exhausting.”
Ning Sheng: “We pay so much tuition, why should students be made to clean? Let the principal do it. Isn’t he just taking the money and not doing anything?”
Xu Ling: “……”
Xu Ling: “Next time you’re on duty, don’t do anything, I beg you.”
A basketball flew towards Ning Sheng who froze, however Xu Ling caught the ball.
“Wanna play?” The person who threw the ball shouted at him.
“No.” Ning Sheng responded, “I don’t want to touch a dirty ball.”
The other person: “?”
“He can’t play.” The ball spun on Xu Ling’s fingertips for two rounds then was tossed back, “You guys go ahead.”
“You can learn.” The other person didn’t give up, “You’ll pick it up quickly.”
Ning Sheng hadn’t learned to play basketball yet, as Xu Ling had been teaching him how to fight recently.
He didn’t quite understand why he had to learn this, but he could only understand it as a ticket to entry into the little devil king’s inner circle.
“Maybe later.” Ning Sheng said, “It depends on my mood.”
“I’ll give it a try.” Xu Ling stood up.
Ning Sheng sat on the bleachers, watching Xu Ling play basketball.
Xu Ling had strong athletic abilities, and as he dunked impressively, he elicited screams from the crowd.
Ning Sheng couldn’t be bothered to scream, so he just nodded lightly to show his approval. Unexpectedly Xu Ling saw it and jumped up and waved at him, looking quite silly.
“Princess, what were you saying to them just now?” Lu Peng was curious.
“I was bribing them, get it?” Ning Sheng said, “One milk tea each, I told them to vote for your Xu Ge as the school hunk.”
It was just a false reputation. He didn’t want it, but Xu Ling needed it.
In the future, when he became the great devil king, these glorious past histories would be bonus points, and would be very pleasing.
Things that could be solved with money weren’t considered problems.
Lu Peng: “Huh? What a huge misunderstanding. Even without bribing them, he would still be the school hunk.”
Ning Sheng: “Isn’t it that he has a major competitor in me?” I’m so good looking.
Lu Peng: “No, we all voted for you to be the school beauty.”
Ning Sheng: “???”
Xu Ling made another dunk, then when he turned his head, he saw Lu Peng being beaten by Ning Sheng as he pinned him down.
Xu Ling: “Tsk.”
“Ning Ning, raise your arm a little higher, make a fist, don’t use your palm, didn’t I teach you that already?” Xu Ling pointed out, “Lu Peng, let him win, but don’t let him win so blatantly!”
Ning Sheng: “….”
“I hate you guys!” He said loudly.
