He wanted to use the Liu family to make Mr. Reese compromise and let him go.
After all, An Qi hadn’t suffered any actual harm and Lu Jizhen was also fine, so they had to let him go. What’s more he would definitely leave Yanjing and never return.
Mr. Reese asked Liu Bohuai with a gloomy face, “What’s Mr. Liu’s attitude?”
Liu Bohuai: “Give him the money and let him leave.”
Liu Jingyuan breathed a sigh of relief when he heard this.

He said, “Then let me go now, transfer the money to my account and I’ll leave Yanjing tomorrow then send Liu Yunfei back.”
Liu Bohuai: “How can I be sure she’s safe with you? Release her now and I’ll let you go.”
Mr. Reese remained silent, his expression unchanged.
Yu Kun responded, “No way.”
Liu Bohuai replied, “Then we’ll just stay here. If you want to drag her to death, go ahead.”
“The Liu family would have just lost someone insignificant.”
He seemed indifferent.
However Li Qingzhou added, “Let Liu Yunfei go. We won’t harm you. Since we said we will let you leave, we’ll naturally let you go.”
Yu Kun didn’t believe him, causing both sides to remain at a standstill.
Liu Yunfei cried, her face full of tears, her legs weak as she relied on Yu Kun’s strength to keep standing upright, her neck and other places bruised.
Liu Jingyuan had no say, so he could only beg Liu Bohuai and Mr. Reese to save her.
Then finally, Mr. Reese relented as he left with his bodyguards.

Then in the next moment, the two stopped rolling.
“Ah Huai, Ah Huai, are you okay?” Li Qingzhou’s anxious voice came from his arms.
Causing Liu Bohuai who had come back to his senses to reassure him hurriedly, “Qingzhou, I’m fine.”
Mr. Reese’s bodyguards came down to take the two up wher Yu Kun had been tackled down and was being restrained on the ground.
And seeing that the two were okay, Mr. Reese breathed a sigh of relief, then took Yu Kun away with a grim expression on his face—it seemed Yu Kun and Mother Yu wouldn’t end up well.
As their destination was undoubtedly an African tribe.
