Chapter 42.2

Editor: Jodi

After his bath, Tang Zhou ran to Fu Shen’s room excitedly.

Fu Shen was already leaning on the bed, a ball of yarn on one side as he focused on finishing a stuffed toy with a crochet needle.

The soft light from the wall lamp made his profile look incredibly gentle, and with the crochet needle in his hand, he looked like a perfect “housewife”, giving Tang Zhou a subtle sense of satisfaction.

He slipped under the covers, leaned against him, then after watching for a while, said, “It doesn’t look that hard.”

Fu Shen raised an eyebrow, “Try it.”

So Tang Zhou took the needle and started mimicking Fu Shen’s movements, however he wasn’t able to get it right.

It obviously looked so simple, yet the moment he tried it himself, his brain was filled with mush.

However although his stitches were messy, his hands were beautiful, jade-like and delicate.

Fu Shen held him in his arms, held his two cold jade-like hands, then taught him how to crochet.

Tang Zhou grinned, “You chose a brown one to be Xiao Bai’s companion?”

“En, you don’t like brown?”

“No, it’s pretty.”

The two of them actually found joy in making the doll and were thoroughly entertained.

However after about half an hour, Tang Zhou’s hands and back were sore, so he gave up, “I’m tired.”

Fu Shen put the brown doll aside then massaged his hands gently.

Whenever it was autumn, Tang Zhou would start to feel cold, and so as he leaned against Fu Shen’s warm chest, he said enviously: “You’re so warm.”

“A bit.”

And as Fu Shen’s chest was pressed against Tang Zhou’s back, the heat and vibration of his voice quickly reached Tang Zhou’s heart through his spine.

He turned his head slightly, and looking at Fu Shen’s sharp jawline, whispered, “I’m a little cold.”

Fu Shen froze, then his arms around him tightened.

“Let’s sleep.”

He lay down with him gently, caged Tang Zhou who was afraid of the cold in his arms, then turned off the lights.

In the dark, silent room, Tang Zhou lay on Fu Shen’s arm. Then a slight movement forward brought him into contact with his warm chest.

He opened his eyes, waited until they adjusted to the darkness, then through the faint neon light that came from outside, traced the outline of Fu Shen’s face.

“Fu Shen.” He called softly.

Fu Shen didn’t respond.

Tang Zhou smiled, raising his voice a bit, “Fu Shen.”

It was soft and sweet.

But Fu Shen still held his ground.

Tang Zhou slowly moved closer, their lips just a breath apart.

“Ge-ge.”

A spark ignited in Fu Shen’s heart, then quickly grew into a blazing fire.

It was just like that night on the busy street when the drunk Tang three-years old was coaxed into calling him “Ge-ge”, causing the tight string in his heart to snap.

Fu Shen opened his eyes, then suddenly pressed Tang Zhou under him.

“Baby.”

He dropped a kiss on Tang Zhou’s forehead.

“Baby.”

Then on his eyes.

“Baby.”

Then on his nose.

Then he stopped, his eyes shining in an alarmingly bright manner in the dark.

However Tang Zhou met his gaze, not showing any weakness.

And when their lips finally met, their minds went blank, then they forgot all sorts of techniques, relying solely on instinct.

This kiss was much more intense compared to the light kiss that had taken place in the kitchen.

And Fu Shen, no longer holding back, displayed complete dominance and strength as he held Tang Zhou tightly, not allowing him any chance to escape.

It started as a gentle exploration, then it soon evolved into a fierce and feverishly passionate battle.

But even so, Fu Shen’s hands still remained respectfully on the back of Tang Zhou’s head, maintaining his boundaries.

Tang Zhou was nearly breathless from the kiss, then when Fu Shen finally released him, he lay limp on the bed like a dehydrated fish that had been scooped out of water, motionless.

However Fu Shen continued to kiss his face, lingering at the corners of his lips, seeming ready to go for another round.

“Not tonight.” Tang Zhou finally sensed the danger.

Because seeing Fu Shen’s intensity, he retreated into his shell.

Fu Shen rested his head against his neck to calm his inner turmoil, then after a while, he said in a hoarse voice, “You sleep first, I’ll go to the bathroom.”

Tang Zhou blushed, “Oh.”

Then when Fu Shen entered the bathroom, he pulled the blanket over his head.

He felt a bit guilty.

He had lit the fire but had left Fu Shen to extinguish it all by himself.

Tang Zhou waited for a while, but Fu Shen still wasn’t out, then feeling sleepy, he drifted off to sleep while his imagination was still running wild.

Fu Shen took care of his physiological needs, took a cold shower, then returned to the room.

Then he stood by the bed and waited for the cold around his body to dissipate before getting into bed quietly.

And the moment he lay down, the sleeping young man rolled into his arms subconsciously.

Fu Shen laughed silently, then lowering his head, kissed the top of his hair.

So sweet.
