Chapter 41.2

Editor: Jodi

Tang Tianyang and his mother believed that once Tang Zhen and Zheng Qiuyi divorced, they would become legitimate members of the Tang family, and the identity of Tang Tianyang’s children after he got married to Du Ruoyu would be more appropriate.

Old Master Tang didn’t want to stir up a divorce scandal— because in their circle, infidelity was normal, but divorce was shameful.

Especially when it came to a divorce in court.

However he couldn’t control Zheng Qiuyi, so he could only hire a team of lawyers for Tang Zhen.

The news of Tang Zhen and Zheng Qiuyi’s divorce spread instantly.

Causing many people to call Zheng Qiuyi stupid behind her back.

Her son was already grown up. After enduring for so many years, why do this now? She really didn’t have any sense.

When the news reached Fu Shen’s ears, his fingers trembled on the keyboard.

He was physically in Deep Blue, but had already flown mentally to Hua Yue.

No wonder Tang Zhou had been in a bad mood these past few days. Was it because of his parents’ divorce?

He thought for a moment, then sent a message.

[Fu Shen]: Steamed fish or sweet and sour fish for dinner tonight?

[Tang Zhou]: I have to work overtime.

[Fu Shen]: It’s been a long time since we had dinner together. Just take it as you accompanying me, okay?

[Tang Zhou]: Okay!

Once the two of them were immersed in workaholic mode, even though they lived under the same roof, they rarely saw each other.

Both Deep Blue and Hua Yue couldn’t do without them now, as any slackness could lead to unnecessary losses.

But in Fu Shen’s heart, Tang Zhou’s mood was more important than work.

When Tang Zhou returned home from work, he smelled the aroma of food as soon as he entered the foyer, and his stomach growled.

He changed his shoes and hurried to the kitchen, where Fu Shen was bending over to clean the sink. Tang Zhou hugged him from behind, rubbing against his broad back, his eyes narrowing, “It smells so good.”

Having a home, having someone to accompany him, was a happiness he had never experienced before.

“Are you hungry? Dinner’s ready.” Fu Shen washed his hands, turned around, and kissed him on the forehead, his gaze gentle and focused.

Tang Zhou let go of him, “Why did you get off work so early today?”

Fu Shen sighed deliberately, “Someone’s in a bad mood and kept it from me.”

“I’m not in a bad mood.” Tang Zhou muttered, “Did you hear something?”

Fu Shen tapped his nose with his finger, “What do you think?”

“Their divorce has nothing to do with me.” Tang Zhou frowned, “I’m not upset because of them.”

“Then why?”

“I have to go on a business trip and probably won’t be back for half a month.” Tang Zhou looked up at him, “Half a month is a long time.”

Before meeting Fu Shen, he never knew he would become so clingy one day.

Hearing this, Fu Shen also felt a pang of disappointment, but he reluctantly suppressed it and said softly, “Once everything is on track, it won’t be like this anymore.”

He turned around, “Let’s eat first.”

Tang Zhou thought to himself, it had been almost half a month since they had parted ways, so he had to spend tonight together.

After dinner, they each went back to their rooms to deal with their own affairs. When it was nine o’clock at night, Tang Zhou washed himself clean then knocked on Fu Shen’s door.

Fu Shen opened the door with wet hair, obviously just having finished showering.

“What’s wrong?”

Tang Zhou held Xiao Bai up in front of him, “Xiao Bai said he wanted to come and chat with you.”

Fu Shen chuckled, “Come in.”

Tang Zhou sat cross-legged on Fu Shen’s bed, with Xiao Bai placed in his lap.

He was wearing shorts, his legs white and slender, and against the dark sheets, they seemed even whiter and shinier.

Having just come out of the shower, his cheeks and neck still had a faint pink hue, like cherry blossom petals in spring, particularly alluring.

Fu Shen’s movements in drying his hair slowed down, until he eventually gave up, casually draping the towel over the back of a chair, his eyes deep and bright.

“What does Xiao Bai want to tell me?”

Tang Zhou didn’t dodge, “Xiao Bai said it feels too lonely sleeping alone.”

Fu Shen: “So?”

“So, it wants to find a companion to sleep with.”

Fu Shen clenched the back of the chair with one hand, “Really?”

Tang Zhou nodded, “It’s not like we haven’t slept together before.”

They slept quite well when they were in the hotel on Pear Mountain.

Fu Shen obviously also thought of this, as he said in a hoarse voice, “Okay.”

Tang Zhou lay down with Xiao Bai in his arms, the light quilt draped over his stomach, failing to cover his legs.

“You go ahead and sleep.” Fu Shen turned around and sat on the chair, “I have something to do.”

Tang Zhou sat up abruptly, “Fu Shen!”

His voice was both angry and aggrieved.

His heart twisting, Fu Shen turned around hurriedly, “What’s wrong?”

“Are you going to sleep or not?!”

How could Fu Shen dare refuse? He lay down on the other side hurriedly, then pulled Tang Zhou into his arms.

“Sleep, I’ll sleep.”

But his movements were a bit too forceful, causing Tang Zhou to accidentally bump into something he shouldn’t have.

His face flushed immediately.

But he didn’t shy away as he asked straightforwardly, “Isn’t it uncomfortable?”

Fu Shen turned the light off, the voice coming from his chest particularly deep and hoarse, “It’s not.”

Tang Zhou: “……”

Fu Shen patted his back, “You’re going on a business trip tomorrow, go to sleep early.”

Tang Zhou muttered, “I’ll send you a video.”

“Okay.”

“You have to send me one too.”

“Okay.”

“Mua.”

Tang Zhou had kissed his cheek, “A goodnight kiss.”

A faint smile crossed Fu Shen’s lips, “Goodnight.”

The comforting scent enveloped Tang Zhou, and amidst the soft shallow breathing of the person beside him, he gradually drifted into slumber.

Fu Shen held him tight.

Then it was a night of sleeplessness.
