Chapter 25.1 Little junior’s fish-flavoured shredded pork

Early the following morning.

When Cheng Wenkang came out from the bathroom after washing up, he saw Sheng Heng curled up with his long legs on the balcony, talking to someone. He didn’t know what the person on the other end of the phone said, but Sheng Heng’s lips suddenly rose at the corners and he laughed out in a low voice, giving Cheng Wenkang goosebumps. He didn’t need to ask to know who Sheng Heng was talking to. Since high school, Sheng Heng had only ever smiled like that at little junior Yan Hao.

About two minutes later, Sheng Heng walked into the room from the balcony and was greeted by Cheng Wenkang’s somewhat eerie gaze.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” Sheng Heng asked in a bad tone.

“Just now, you were smiling so happily, but the moment you saw me, your expression changed.” Cheng Wenkang said sourly, “You were talking to little junior, right? You just met last night, and you’re calling again first thing in the morning, you’re too clingy.”

Sheng Heng looked at him blankly, and then dialed another number: “Uncle Yue? This is Sheng Heng, I’ve talked to Yan Hao. He has decided to sell the data model to the military with the second option, so there’s no need to announce his name to the public.”

“Okay, I understand. In a moment, send me his account number. From now on I will settle his earnings on the 15th of every month.” Uncle Yue said.

“If you can, can we start today?” Sheng Heng said.

“Today? Did he ask for it?” Uncle Yue asked.

“No, it’s just that Yan Hao is now learning mech building and he’s not in a very good financial situation, so I was thinking that since he’d have to work to make money anyway, you might as well give him the share of the portion that was sent to the front line before, and then give the later ones on a monthly basis.” Sheng Heng said.

“So it’s your little selfishness, it seems you’re on good terms with this Yan Hao guy.” Uncle Yue ha ha’d.

“If we aren’t on good terms, how would he give me the data model?” Sheng Heng didn’t hide it either.

“What, from what you’re saying, he doesn’t know your identity?”

“He doesn’t know.” Sheng Heng confirmed. “He just heard that I was in a hurry to find an advanced sedative, so he went to the school and borrowed the Super light brain to calculate this data model. He just simply wanted to help me out.”

“That’s right, if he knew your identity, how could he have chosen the second option? Entering the military directly would be the wisest choice.” Uncle Yue said, “However, from what you’re saying, he doesn’t plan to switch back to the pharmacy major and wants to continue studying mech building?”

“Yes.” Sheng Heng nodded his head.

“Xiao Heng, how aby you persuade him again? I’ve checked his grades, he has always been talented in pharmacy. All six years of his high school studies was also pharmacy, and his high school exam scores were even the top of their planet. It’s a waste to suddenly switch to mech building after putting so much effort into pharmacy. It’s only the new freshman year, so it’s not too late to switch back.”

“Uncle Yue, I’ve asked him, he likes mech building.” Sheng Heng said emphatically.

“But his talent is clearly in pharmacy.”

“Uncle Yue, he studied for six years in high school, yet he finally chose to start over with mech building, so it’s clear that he really likes it.” Sheng Heng’s voice rose in seriousness, “Perhaps he does have talent in pharmacy, but we should also respect his personal choice.”

Uncle Yue was silent for a moment, then said, “Alright, I understand. I’ll go make arrangements now and try to help this little junior of yours get his proceedings today.”

“Thank you.”

After hanging up, Sheng Heng immediately sent Yan Hao’s account number to Uncle Yue. He had worked with Yan Hao before to sell energy blocks, so he had Yan Hao’s account number for funds.

“Then now that little junior has money, will he stop selling energy blocks in the future?” Cheng Wenkang suddenly realised a problem.

“The curriculum of the Mecha Building Department is so tight, and his foundation isn’t good, but you still want him to make energy blocks every day?” Sheng Heng asked.

“I’m just sighing. What are you being so fierce for? You really forget your brother when you have a wife.” Cheng Wenkang was aggrieved.

“You ……”

“Boss, don’t say you don’t have any heart designs on our little junior. If you dare say that you don’t, I’ll go after him right now.” Cheng Wenkang said.

“You dare!” Sheng Heng was so angry that he picked up the book on the table and threw it over.

Cheng Wenkang laughed then hid behind the door. Standing in place, Sheng Heng suddenly laughed out as well. It was so obvious that he liked Yan Hao.

The Mecha Building Department.

At the end of the morning session, He Shao pulled Yan Hao, who was still analyzing the mech wiring out of the classroom and walked together towards the canteen: “What’s that saying again? If you’re not active in eating, then there’s something wrong with your mind.”

“It’s not like the canteen will run out of food, so it’s okay to be a little late.” Yan Hao was puzzled. In his understanding, it wasn’t like there was no food to eat, so why should he rush to the canteen right after class? The time wasted in the queue could be used to read two more pages of books.

“The meals won’t all be sold out, but there’s a chance that the dishes you like to eat will be sold out. Don’t you have a particular favourite meal?” He Shao asked him.

“The meals in the canteen all taste the same.” Yan Hao said in reply.

“Who said that? The sweet and sour pork at the third entrance is the best, and the fish-flavoured shredded pork at the fifth entrance ranks second, and these two dishes will definitely not be available if I go late. If I can’t eat one of these two dishes, I’ll be in a bad mood all day.” He Shao said.

“Is it so exaggerated?” Yan Hao was surprised.

“Of course, so hurry up.”

The two of them ‘flew’ to the cafeteria, but the line was already full of people in front of the third and fifth entrances. Yan Hao walked to the front and taking a look, compared the portion of each dish and the students lined up behind him, then told He Shao with certainty that he wouldn’t get a turn. But He Shao was undeterred and insisted on standing in line, holding out hope that someone in front of him wouldn’t eat ribs, but in the end, he wasn’t able to make it.

Having no other choice, he could only ask for two random dishes and then sat listlessly in the cafeteria.

“Let’s just come early tomorrow.” Yan Hao said comfortingly, although he couldn’t understand why a serving of ribs was so important.

He Shao sighed, his mood not improving.
